The longest place I lived was Tulalip Indian Reservation for about 10 years. It was right on the water, so most of my childhood memories are of the beach.

My grandmother

Who are some of your style icons and influences?
Female musicians in the late 60's to early 70's.

What was the first clothing item you fell in love with?
A velvet vest that started a collection of vests I gathered in High School. It was kind of a problem.

What clothing item would you bring back?
Jumpsuits.

Who is your favorite clothing designer?
The late Alexander McQueen.
Where did you grow up?
I was born in Lagos, Nigeria and lived there until I was ten years old. Then I moved to Austin, Texas and moved up to Seattle after I graduated high school. 

If you could travel anywhere, where would you go?
Moscow, Russia.

What's currently on your personal soundtrack?
Donovan, Dutch psychedelic music, black angels.


What was the last book you read?
The Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas.

Williamsburg, NY.

Where did you grow up?
West side of L.A./Santa Monica

Where would you go on your dream holiday?
Tokyo or Stockholm.

What's on your personal soundtrack at the moment?
I'm going back to the 90's- Pixies and Hole as well as some new stuff like Atlas Sound and Beach Fossils.



Where do you gather your fashion inspiration?
The 1930's. It was a powerful and romantic time. Also grunge women. I went to a lot of rock shows with my mom when I was younger.

What's your dream color palette and materials consist of?
I love velvet. Plum and burnt orange. Earthy tones. 

What is your most treasured possession?
My mom's record collection. She dragged them here from England, the south, New Mexico, LA, and now there with me in New York.

What is your favorite film?
I recently watched Bonnie and Clyde which I loved. Anything Hitchcock-- I love North by Northwest. I also love trashy zombie movies from the 80's.

Ernest Hemingway or Woody Allen.

Proenza Schouler

Artists that I envy. Lucian Freud especially.

growing up alone

Being true to yourself. People who aren't true to themselves are just boring.

When I was little I made my own dress out of tissue paper and I also really loved to wear my pink tutu.

To be lovely and wonderful. I would love to be a writer, preferably short stories.
